In the last post we learned how to recognize the difference between hard skills and soft skills. Now let’s dig deeper into how to develop hard skills. Hard skills aren’t necessarily difficult to perform, but their “hard”ness comes from their being well-defined and precise.

Stronger Every Day!

We all want the latest and greatest computer and software. Like Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor, of TV’s Home Improvement, we want “more power!” But what happens when we get the super fast CPU and the huge amounts of RAM? We tend to get lazy. We don’t worry about saving extra copies of our application locally because disk is cheap. We don’t worry about memory usage or slow performance because the hardware hides it from us.
